Uber - Request a ride experienced a decrease in downloads from 444K in the last week of December 2020 to 343K by the end of March 2021. Weekly active users initially increased, peaking at 19M in the first week of February, before declining to 15.6M by March-end.
inDrive. Save on city rides saw a fluctuating download trend, starting at 370K and dipping to 271K in late January, then surging to a high of 506K in late March before closing the quarter at 417K. Active users showed a slight decline from 5M to 4.6M over the quarter.
DiDi Rider: Affordable rides had downloads ranging between 296K and 385K, finishing Q1 with a slight decline. However, weekly active users grew consistently from 4.5M to 5.4M, indicating solid user retention and engagement.
The Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver app downloads varied, with an initial drop from 184K to 129K in January, followed by a rise to 167K in late March, and a subsequent drop to 144K. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 1.4M throughout the quarter.
